Responsible:

• Responsible for an import operations mainly from Europe and Australia in order to ensure products availability and appropriate stock level as well as optimize shipping cost
• Align with sales and other departments demand forecasts, determine required quantity to be ordered
• Prepare and place Purchase orders, ensure order acceptance confirmation
• Ensure availability of required documentation i.e. Health Certificates, Certificate of Origin
• Inform / place respective orders to the carriers both in regard to sea and air freight
• Monitor realization of the orders of incoming shipments and inform respective departments, i.e. sales, warehouse
• Review goods receiving report and if necessary prepare claim towards supplier or carrier
• Verify transport charges and provide costing report
• Actively search for optimal shipping solutions, maintain relations with suppliers and shipping companies

Requirements:

• Degree in Supply Chain or Logistics with previous experience in international shipping
• Previous experience in international shipping, preferably with perishable products both in regard to Air and Sea freight
• Strong experience with European/Australian suppliers and with strong communicative and strong analytical skills
• Knowledge and experience in cooperation with Air and Sea carriers/forwarders
• Experience in demand planning/stock management
• Good planning and organizational skills
• Good spoken and written In English and Chinese
